Mango Magic Replica Smoothie

My family love the Mango Magic smoothies from Boost Juice but it can be a costly, even time-consuming event trying to trek into the local shopping centre to get our fix. So after many trials and a little bit of online research from others who have tried before me, I present to you our home brewed Mango Magic replica smoothie, which our family enjoys not only in the mornings for breakfast, but also for an afternoon snack. It is also my first recipe post linking to how create this delicious smoothie using your Thermomix.

METHOD.

Step 1. Place all the ingredients into the blender and pulse at a high speed until all the ingredients have been blended.

NOTES AND VARIATIONS

This recipe can be enjoyed all year round by replacing fresh mango with frozen. When using frozen fruit, you may want to consider the blending capacities of your blender. As such, you may have to partially thaw your frozen fruit so it can be blended properly.

I’ve also made this smoothie pretty thick, but not too thick to not be able to drink through a straw. If you prefer a runnier smoothie, add more nectar.

Lastly, I add LSA and vanilla protein powder to my smoothies to make it more filling for me and my boys. These additions are optional and can either be replaced with something you want to add to your smoothies, or removed all together.
