Chicken and sausages are such a staple at any BBQ event but I really love lamb. So\u00a0I made these lamb skewers using mince, for the little ones who like to nibble, and being a mince it is reasonably affordable compared to other cuts of lamb. I found these skewers really easy to make because when a meal requires advanced preparation, I find it less stressful and it means I can cook *and* enjoy the company I have on the day.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/dev.lalaskitchen.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/cover.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-138 aligncenter\" alt=\"Lamb Skewers\" src=\"http:\/\/192.168.0.14\/\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/cover-1024x680.jpg\" width=\"792\" height=\"526\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Prep &amp; Cooking Time &#8211; <strong>15 mins + marinating time<\/strong> | Serves &#8211; <strong>makes approx 20 skewers<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>INGREDIENTS<\/strong><\/p>\n<div>&#8211; 1kg lamb mince<\/div>\n<div>&#8211; 3 tablespoon dried rosemary<\/div>\n<div>&#8211; 3 tablespoon dried mint<\/div>\n<div>&#8211; 3 tablespoon ground cumin<\/div>\n<div>&#8211; 3 tablespoon mince garlic<\/div>\n<div>&#8211; salt and pepper to season<\/div>\n<div>&#8211; 20 bamboo skewers<\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong><\/strong><strong>METHOD<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><em>Step 1 and 2 to be done 24 hours prior to the skewers being cooked.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>Step 1.\u00a0<\/strong>Combine the mince and all the herbs and spices together with salt and pepper, into a bowl and mix well.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/dev.lalaskitchen.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/01.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-132 aligncenter\" alt=\"01\" src=\"http:\/\/192.168.0.14\/\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/01-680x1024.jpg\" width=\"462\" height=\"695\" \/><\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/dev.lalaskitchen.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/02.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-133 aligncenter\" alt=\"02\" src=\"http:\/\/192.168.0.14\/\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/02-1024x680.jpg\" width=\"528\" height=\"350\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>Step 2.\u00a0<\/strong>When mixed roll into small balls, approximately the size of golf balls, then leave in the fridge overnight in an air-tight container to let the herbs and spices infuse into the meat.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/dev.lalaskitchen.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/03.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-134 aligncenter\" alt=\"03\" src=\"http:\/\/192.168.0.14\/\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/03-1024x680.jpg\" width=\"528\" height=\"350\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>Step 3.<\/strong>\u00a0Soak your bamboo sticks in cold water, ensuring they are fully immersed. I used a small bowl of water to keep the bamboo sticks under water. Soak for 30 minutes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/dev.lalaskitchen.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/04.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-135 aligncenter\" alt=\"04\" src=\"http:\/\/192.168.0.14\/\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/04-1024x680.jpg\" width=\"528\" height=\"350\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>Step 4.<\/strong> Combine two lamb balls and mould into an elongated roll.
