In searching for the recipe, I envisioned it would be quite difficult to make but I was pleasantly surprised to find out that I was very wrong. \u00a0This Mars Bar Slice is so easy to make. requires few ingredients and could be prepared in advanced for any occasion. For me, I love this slice best with my afternoon cuppa tea.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/192.168.0.14\/\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/08.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-45 aligncenter\" alt=\"Mars Bar Slice\" src=\"http:\/\/192.168.0.14\/\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/08-1024x680.jpg\" width=\"660\" height=\"438\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>INGREDIENTS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><\/strong>&#8211; 50g butter<br \/>\n&#8211; 1 Tablespoon golden syrup<br \/>\n&#8211; 4x 53g Mars Bars, finely chopped (standard chocolate bar size)<br \/>\n&#8211; 3 cups (60g) rice bubbles<br \/>\n&#8211; 200g milk chocolate (I come half dark and half milk chocolate)<br \/>\n&#8211; 200g copha<\/p>\n<p><strong><\/strong><strong>METHOD<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 1.<\/strong>\u00a0Grease and line the base and side of a slice pan with baking paper with extra paper hanging over the edges.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/192.168.0.14\/\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/011.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-49 aligncenter\" alt=\"01\" src=\"http:\/\/192.168.0.14\/\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/011-682x1024.jpg\" width=\"396\" height=\"594\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 2.\u00a0<\/strong>Place rice bubbles in a mixing bowl in preparation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/192.168.0.14\/\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/021.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-50 aligncenter\" alt=\"02\" src=\"http:\/\/192.168.0.14\/\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/021-1024x680.jpg\" width=\"462\" height=\"307\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 3.\u00a0<\/strong>Combine butter, golden syrup and Mars Bars in a medium saucepan over low heat. Cook, stirring with a wooden spoon until everything is melted and is a smooth mixture. Remove from heat.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/192.168.0.14\/\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/031.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-51 aligncenter\" alt=\"03\" src=\"http:\/\/192.168.0.14\/\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/031-1024x680.jpg\" width=\"462\" height=\"307\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 4.\u00a0<\/strong>Add the Mars Bar mixture and stir until well combined.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/192.168.0.14\/\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/041.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-52 aligncenter\" alt=\"04\" src=\"http:\/\/192.168.0.14\/\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/041-1024x680.jpg\" width=\"462\" height=\"307\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 5.\u00a0<\/strong>Spoon the Mars Bar and rice bubble mixture into the prepared pan. Spread the mixture to cover the slice pan and smooth the surface using the back of a spoon or\u00a0ladle. Place the slice tray in the fridge for 1 hour to cool completely.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/192.168.0.14\/\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/05.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-53 aligncenter\" alt=\"05\" src=\"http:\/\/192.168.0.14\/\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/05-1024x680.jpg\" width=\"462\" height=\"307\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<strong>Step 6.\u00a0<\/strong>Place the chocolate and copha in a heatproof bowl over a saucepan half-filled with simmering water. Stir until the chocolate melts.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/192.168.0.14\/\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/061.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-54 aligncenter\" alt=\"06\" src=\"http:\/\/192.168.0.14\/\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/061-1024x680.jpg\" width=\"462\" height=\"307\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>Step 7. <\/strong>Take out the cooled slice tray from the fridge. \u00a0Pour the melted chocolate mixture over the top of the slice ensuring it is evenly spread.
