I also hope this recipe shows how the Thermomix can be a wonderful kitchen tool, whereby you can whip up some restaurant-quality style dishes in the comfort of your home to wow guests or to spoil yourself with.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/dev.lalaskitchen.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/KBD_7549.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-744 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/dev.lalaskitchen.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/KBD_7549.jpg\" alt=\"KBD_7549\" width=\"4288\" height=\"2848\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Prep and Cooking Time &#8211;\u00a0<strong>20 minutes\u00a0<\/strong>| Serves &#8211;\u00a0<strong>2-4 as an entree<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>INGREDIENTS<\/strong><\/p>\n<div>&#8211;\u00a03-5 cloves of garlic (subject to your taste)<\/div>\n<div>&#8211;\u00a0a few sprigs of curly parsley leaves<\/div>\n<div>&#8211;\u00a05-6 fresh basil leaves<\/div>\n<div>&#8211;\u00a0250g block of butter (I used organic), cubed<\/div>\n<div>&#8211;\u00a01 Tablespoon lemon juice<\/div>\n<div>&#8211; 500g fresh scallops, pat dried and roes removed<\/div>\n<div>&#8211; salt and pepper to season<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>METHOD<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Place garlic, parsley and basil leaves in to the TM bowl and chop\u00a0<strong>3\u00a0sec \/ speed 7<\/strong>. Scrape down the sides of the bowl.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/dev.lalaskitchen.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/KBD_7534.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-746\" src=\"http:\/\/192.168.0.14\/\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/KBD_7534-1024x682.jpg\" alt=\"KBD_7534\" width=\"500\" height=\"333\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Add cubed butter into the bowl and mix\u00a0<strong>5 sec \/ speed 7<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/dev.lalaskitchen.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/KBD_7535.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-750\" src=\"http:\/\/192.168.0.14\/\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/KBD_7535-1024x680.jpg\" alt=\"KBD_7535\" width=\"500\" height=\"332\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Transfer the butter onto a sheet of cling-wrap and use the cling-wrap to mould the butter into a roll. Then cut 2-3 discs of butter of approximately 1cm thickness. Reserve the remaining butter in the fridge.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/dev.lalaskitchen.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/KBD_7542.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-752\" src=\"http:\/\/192.168.0.14\/\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/KBD_7542-1024x680.jpg\" alt=\"KBD_7542\" width=\"500\" height=\"332\" \/><\/a>Heat a shallow non-stick frying pan to medium-high heat and melt butter. Add lemon juice to the butter as its melting. This should take approximately 2-3 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>Place scallops into the frying pan on top of the melted butter, ensuring the scallops are not crowded in the pan. Sear the scallops undisturbed for approximately 2-4 minutes or until browned\u00a0on each side. The scallops are cooked\u00a0when they are almost firm to touch.<\/p>\n<p>Serve scallops while they are freshly cooked. When plating, scoop some of the butter from the pan and pour onto the scallops.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/dev.lalaskitchen.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/KBD_7547.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-753\" src=\"http:\/\/192.168.0.14\/\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/KBD_7547-1024x680.jpg\" alt=\"KBD_7547\" width=\"660\" height=\"438\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>NOTES AND VARIATIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As mentioned earlier, there is excess butter left over in this recipe.
